There are a lot of great things in the works! In the coming weeks, I’m going to begin sharing with you my novel that’s in the works! I’m in the process of completing the first draft of the manuscript. In the writing world, this is called the “junk draft” or the “vomit draft”. The idea is to just dump the story out of your head, so then you can go back and work through editing in subsequent versions. I can’t wait to begin sharing with you!
For right now, all I will say is that it is set in Chicago — in the Delta (the original Greektown neighborhood) and other real places in the Windy City. There are real events in this story, and some real people appear. The story was inspired by a real person, but it’s a product of my imagination.
